The Bok Kai Festival is now in its 133rd year and
will be held on March 16th and 17th.This year’s Bok Kai
Festival takes place in the year of the snake. At the center of the festival is
Marysville CA Bok Kai Temple that was built in 1888. One of the most
interesting things about the festival is the fact that it is the oldest
continuous parade in the United States!
This historic festival will include beautiful floats in the
Bok Kai parade and marvelous cultural performances. See martial arts, attend
dancing, or tour the Chinese American History Museum of Northern California.
Don’t forget to see the famous Bok Kai dragon!
