Travel back in time at the Forbestown Daze while staying at the Yuba City Hotel Palisade. On Saturday, August 7, 2010 it will be time to travel back into the Wild Wild West. This event is run by the Yuba Feather Historical Museum.
The fun-filled day will start with a flag raising ceremony. Visit the millinery shop, the barber shop, the Wells Fargo Bank, or the Sheriff’s Office. Check out the wool spinning or the old-fashioned printing press. Relax in quiet chapel. Ring the schoolhouse bell. Watch the working blacksmith. Witness the process in a gold stamp mill. After that it will be time for some outlaws and Marshalls to have a shoot out after a robbery at Wells Fargo!
While enjoying the festivities, you can shop for food or goods. Enjoy homemade baked goods or buy some timeless jewelry. Best of all, the event is FREE to attend! Travel back to modern times at the end of the day come back to our hotel and take a dip in the cool pool or relax in a comfortable suite with a big screen T.V. and free internet access.
