Yuba City Hotel Near Beale Air Force Base

The Yuba City Hotel Travelodge is coviently located near Beale Air Force Base. This 36 square mile base was established in 1943. It is named after Edward Fitzgerald Beale who served in the Navy and also the California Militia. The base is home to the Air Force Cyber Command and the 9th Reconnaissance Wing.

There are many things to do on Beale Air Force Base. It has a Museum of Forgotten Warriors, a lake, a library, a golf course, and a base Rod and Gun Club. The Coyote Pub and Grill is a great place to eat and Beale Exchange a good place to shop. Beale Air Force Base also hosts some community events. In February it hosts the African-American Heritage Festival and it hosts the Wheatland/Beale Community Fair in April.

Hotel Near Yuba-Sutter Fair

Come on down to the Yuba-Sutter Fair and stay at the Yuba City Hotel Palisade.The Yuba-Sutter Fair has been delighting fairgoers since 1858. The fair will be from July 28th- August 1st.This year’s theme is HONOR~GLORY~TRADITION in honor of the men and women who have served and are currently serving our country. It will also honor the traditions of the community believing the American dream and their support of local agriculture.

See the Livestock auction and award show. Enjoy the entertainment including a TNT Destruction Derby, Kid’s Carnival Rides, a hypnotist show, and The Mikel J. Moreno Memorial PBR Discovery Tour.

Watch the Yuba-Sutter Royal Court Competition, which gives scholarships from girls and women from age 9 to age 23. Take a bite of the good food and have great fun!

Tickets are only $7 for an adult and $4 for children 6-11. Children 5 and under are FREE! Fair hours are 5:30 pm. until Midnight on Wednesday and Thursday and 1pm. until Midnight Friday through Sunday.
